She was an entrepreneur at heart with her youngster lemonade stand and progressing to owning a wedding and party rental business for 16 years. She also worked as a flight attendant and executive assistant for United Airlines, an English teacher, a home travel agent, and a Rotary club administrative assistant. Her final project was creating floral and fountain arrangements for home decor. She participated in many art festivals in Utah, and surrounding states.
Jane was selflessly dedicated to the service of others and spent many years working with Rotarian projects both locally and abroad, including humanitarian trips to Guatemala and India. She was an avid historical reader and traveled to over 48 countries with her husband, Doug. Even though Jane was a career woman, her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family.
Jane is survived by her husband, Douglas; sons, Kurt (Kelly) in Layton, UT; and Nate in West Haven, UT; sister, Ann; brother, Joe; seven grandchildren: Chelsie, Jordan, Zerek, Paige, Erica, Ben, and Ryan; and two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her parents.
It was Jane's wishes to be cremated, with a Celebration of Life memorial to follow on a later date. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
In lieu of flowers Jane requested that you donate to your favorite charity.
