Juan Carlos Vazquez

January 2, 2002 ~ May 4, 2019

Father: Juan Carlos Vasquez
Mother: Josefina Vasquez

On May 4, 2019 we lost our loved one in a four-wheeler accident. Juan Carlos Vazquez was born on January 2, 2002. Juan went by “Junior” most of the time.

He was someone who always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude no matter the situation. Junior loved spending time with his church youth group, friends, and family. He was a young man who had many goals ahead of him.

Junior was a beacon of love and life to everyone who met him. A big goofball that could make anyone laugh not matter the situation. Always making new friends, drawing them in with his enormous hugs, positivity and personality, making them feel special, loved, and cheering them up when they needed it. Even at his age, he was always putting others before himself, making sure they knew he loved and cared about them. He had utmost respect for those around him and wouldn’t try to change anyone.

Junior’s passion was his car, tricking it out with new seat covers, tires, and rims. He was very artistic and loved to write poems, draw, and was into a lot of animé. He had a skill for playing soccer; his jersey number was #11. Junior enjoyed skateboarding and buying new boards and wheels. Junior was a hard worker and would reward himself by shopping online at Supreme. Like every teenager he would be found playing video games in his free time.

Although our hearts ache for him, we are forever thankful for the time we were able to spend with him. His memory will forever be in our hearts.

Junior is survived by his beloved parents, Juan Carlos and Josefina Vazquez; his sister, Suheit Garcia; niece and nephew; his godparents, Gloria and Sebastian Vazquez; his grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, countless friends, and his dog, Booboos.

Services with visitation will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2019 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Christian Life Center, 2352 East Highway 193, Layton, UT. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
