Charles Anthony “C.A.” Williams, age 70 of London, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 12 at Thomson-Hood Veteran’s Center in Wilmore, KY.

He leaves behind three children, Brittany Gray and husband Carl of Nicholasville, KY, Brookelyn Keith and husband Troy of Lexington, KY, Israel Williams and wife Carrie Ann of DeFuniak Springs, FL; the mother of his children, Sherri Miller; one sister, Connie Jervis of London, KY; seven grandchildren, Peyton, Presley, Parker, and Paxton Gray, Zion, Isabella and Adeline Jewell Williams; beloved nieces and nephews, Kip Jervis, Melissa Bundy, V.G. Williams, Camille Croley; sister-in-law, Debbie Williams, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt Victor Williams & Jewell Fay Williams and one brother, Emmitt V. “Sonny” Williams.

He was a Truck Driver, former Laurel County Clerk, veteran of the U.S. Army, member of the Carmichael Community Church and a Gospel Singer/Songwriter. C.A. was loved and adored by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services for C.A. Williams will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 15 at Carmichael Community Church with Jeff Lewis and Terry Gabbard officiating. Full military honors will be presented by the Local D.A.V. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home. There will also be a special visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday, January 15, also at Carmichael Community Church. House-Rawlings Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
