Horace McBath, 82, 1214 NW 5th St, died Sunday at Oklahoman General Hospital after an extended illness. For many years he was employed in the library and file room of The Daily Oklahoman and before that operated a restaurant across from Central High School. He was born in Maryville, TN, Dec. 22 1859, and graduated from Maryville College. He married Laura Walker in 1883. Mrs McBath died in 1935. He had been a member of the Presbyterian most of his life and was active in Second Presbyterian Church here. Survivors are four sons, Earl W., 140 SE 25th St; Frank B. and Nolan C., both of Portland, OR; and George A., Mission, TX; and a daughter, Helen Swidensky, 1303 N. Klein Ave. Services will be 4 pm Tuesday at Guardian Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
