Mrs Marian Aiola, 75 of Poplar St, died Sept 4, 1968 following a long illness.
She was born in Italy to Steve and Theresa (Salamone) Barretta. She was married to Anthony Aiola, who died Feb 2, 1966.
Mrs. Aiola was a member of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church and president of the Alter and Rosary Society for 24 years. She was a member of the Italian Civic Club Auxillary, the Catholic Daughters of America and the Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Josephine) Furno of Tucson, and Mrs. Anthony (Theresa) Frisina of Meadville; two sons, Anthony and Joseph Sherry, both of Meadville; one sister, Mrs Anthony Frisina of Meadville; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
