Victor Anthony Durbano, 77, passed away at home from an extended illness surrounded by his family.
He was born in Ogden, Utah to Victor and Carmela Deacetis Durbano. He was the second of three sons. He was raised in Roy and graduated from Weber High School where he was active in all sports. He later attended Weber State College. He met and married his high school sweetheart Joyce Farr. They were married on May 22, 1958. Together they raised five children.
Vic worked at Marquardt as an inspector, Scott USA, and also helped operate Durbano Warehousing in Clearfield. He ended his working career as a Carmen for the Union Pacific Railroad.
He had many hobbies which included golfing, especially his annual Father’s Day golf game with his sons, bowling, coaching his sons in Little League Football, painting yard art, and traveling to Wendover to play in slot machine tournaments. In his later years he enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading. He also loved to watch the Jazz, but especially he loved to be with his grandkids supporting activities and sports.
Vic is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce Durbano; daughters, Carrie (Dan) Thomas, Clinton and Laurie (Boyd) Fife, Harrisville; sons, Brian (Lori) Durbano, Riverdale; Darren (Kristi) Durbano, Fruit Heights; and Philip (Kami) Durbano, Riverdale; one brother, David (Linda) Durbano, Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He has 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, with two more on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ernie Durbano; and one great-grandson, Bode Barkdull.
