Johnny was my cousin. He was very flamboyant and a lot of fun to be around. He had an extensive beer bottle collection from the late 1800s to the mid-twentieth century along with a nice collection of Bust Liberty half dollars (1796-1839). He had a sister, Nannie "Mildred" Mathis, born 2-8-1914. She married Lawrence Leo Hodges 10-14-1932. Lawrence died in 1935. I believe "Mildred" was living at least until the 1960s but I cannot find info on her death. Johnny and Viola had two children, Gordon and Judy.
