McMinnville resident and Warren County native William Darrell Brown, 56, died Feb. 19 at River Park Hospital after an extended illness.
A member of West End Avenue Church of Christ and a veteran of the Vietnam War, he was the son of Irene Wolverton of McMinnville and the late Robert Brown.
He is survived by son, Berrett Brown of Oklahoma; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Lorie Wolverton of Georgia, Joe and Nickey Wolventon, and Bob Brown, all of California; and special friends, Fred and Cama Jacklet of McMinnville.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Chapel with Fred Paul Jacklet officiating. Burial will follow at Ivy Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, and 8 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Love-Cantrell & Cope.
